Rodney Carney of the Portlad Trail Blazers defeated Shannon Brown to win the GDS Slam Dunk contest. Allan Houston, last year with the Bobcats, defeated Leandro Barbosa and Donyell Marshall to caputre the JAG Long Distance title.
Rudy Gay was named player of the game but his rookies were defeated by the sophomores 85-110. Kevin Garnett lead the Central Division all stars to a 121-105 win over the Southeast in second annual division showdow.
